***Human Resource Manager***
Robert Half is partnering with a Investment Management Firm to recruit a HR Manager to join the team in the city of London.
Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join a prestigious investment management firm in London. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the firm's human resources strategy, supporting employee development, and ensuring the smooth management of HR operations across the organization. You will work closely with senior management to create a positive work environment, implement effective policies, and manage talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that HR policies and practices support the firm's vision and culture.
* Oversee the full recruitment cycle for all levels of roles within the firm, including developing job descriptions, managing the recruitment process, and liaising with external recruitment agencies when necessary.
* Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, managing conflict resolution and providing guidance to managers and staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Drive the performance management process, including goal-setting, appraisals, feedback, and career development. Advise managers on performance improvement plans and professional development opportunities for employees.
* Design and implement training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles. Encourage continuous learning and support leadership development initiatives.
* Manage the firm’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards. Work with external providers to review and optimize the benefits package.
* Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay informed about changes in HR legislation and implement necessary changes to HR practices.
* Oversee HR operations, including maintaining employee records, managing HR systems, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for all staff members.
* Foster a positive work culture by organising employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and team-building activities. Monitor employee satisfaction and provide recommendations to enhance the work environment.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on HR metrics, such as turnover, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR qualifications such as CIPD are highly desirable.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR management role, preferably within the financial services, investment management, or professional services sector. A proven track record in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
* Skills:
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
* Experience with HR software and systems (HRIS, payroll systems).
