What we’re looking for…
The Supply Planning Projects Executive will support the Supply Planning Projects Manager in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will play a key part in the Supply Planning team by assisting in the planning and execution of projects related to CapEx, New Product Development (NPD), and Evolution Product Development (EPD). The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal risk. This role is pivotal in supporting the supply chain function and contributing to the company's overall goal of delivering excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include...
As Supply Planning Project Executive your responsibilities will include;
* Project Support: Assist the Supply Planning Projects Manager in the planning and execution of various projects.
* Project Tracking: Monitor the progress of projects, identify potential risks or delays, and provide solutions to mitigate them.
* Documentation Management: Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and status reports.
* Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide regular updates.
* New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the management of NPI processes, ensuring timely material availability and cost-effectiveness.
* Product Obsolescence: Assist in managing product obsolescence within agreed financial targets.
* Material Phase-In/Out: Help manage the phase-in and phase-out of materials to minimise waste and stay within budget.
* Supply Chain Representation: Represent Supply Chain in product launch meetings and project reviews, ensuring any updates, risks, and project statuses are communicated effectively.
* Risk Mitigation: Address risks through contingency planning, proposing solutions to the Supply Planning Projects Manager and other stakeholders.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and adhere to company project standards.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing sites, warehouses, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to drive performance improvements.
* KPI Achievement: Ensure departmental KPIs are met by aligning actions with strategic objectives.
* Problem-Solving: Analyze data to identify root causes of issues and resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
* Project Leadership: In some cases, take full responsibility for managing supply chain projects through to completion.
What you’ll bring...
The successful candidate will have;
* FMCG Planning Experience:Experience in end-to-end supply chain management within a similar FMCG environment is highly desirable
* Project Management Knowledge: An understanding of project management methodologies would be beneficial.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement Mindset: A focus on driving efficiency and process improvement.
* Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams to achieve favorable outcomes,
* Numeracy & Analytical Skills: Strong skills in managing, analysing, and interpreting complex data.
* Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with confidence.
* Self-Starter: Enthusiastic, proactive, and results-oriented with a bias for action.
* IT Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets management and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Travel Requirement: maybe required (max 4 per calendar year)
