St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Improvement Lead to join our team. This role will include cross county work and travel and have a base at our Taunton site. You will join us on a full time basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £46,148 per annum (St Margaret's Hospice pay grade C/ Equivalent to Agenda for Change Band 7). What can you expect to be doing? As Practice Improvement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the continuous development of clinical practice improvement at St Margarets Hospice by enhancing the quality, safety and efficiency of care in all areas of the charity. Working closely with the Head of Clinical Governance, you will deliver programmes to drive and manage clinical practice improvement initiatives. You will enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency through competency, evidence-based practices, process optimization, and staff engagement. Leading and supporting improvement projects, you will coach staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement, analysis and learning. Responsibilities as our Practice Improvement lead will include: Leading and managing Hospice clinical improvement projects. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve desired outcomes. Maintaining and developing a robust competency reporting structure for presentation at the clinical governance committee Improving practice through quality improvement frameworks. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives. Listening to and managing complaints through the internal process to completion, action and learning Focusing and promoting continuous Improvement and learning across the organization. Developing and implementing clinical practice improvement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Leading multidisciplinary teams to identify, plan, and execute improvement projects.
