We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to work within the Operations Management Office. You will be responsible for providing insight, information, and support that strengthens portfolio governance and enables the prioritisation of outcomes and effective management across the portfolio. As a Senior Portfolio Analyst your role will entail: Complex analysis of governance, reporting outputs, and programmatic data to track key activities, plans, budgets, issues, and risks across all the AWE portfolio. Analysis of the portfolio to maintain an integrated view of the key risks and issues across the AWE Enterprise. Recommending effective actions to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities. Analysis and evaluation of portfolio data to identify discrepancies, trends, exceptions, and opportunities. Tracking and highlighting interdependencies and conflicts between business as usual and the portfolio and recommending courses of remedial action. Orchestrating reporting from programmes and projects and provides analysis, insight and recommendation of resolutions for improved performance of the portfolio. Monitoring portfolio risks (threats and opportunities) and escalate as appropriate. Using programmatic data develop predictive analytics to optimise project performance. Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following: A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Skills relevant to the analysis, modelling, and interpretation of complex data. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written. Tenacity and resilience when working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Experience of project reporting, cost, planning, governance, risk, and using analytic skills within projects and programmes. IT skills – including MS PowerPoint and Business Intelligence Platforms.
