Salary: £58,596 to £71,797 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for an Associate Professor in Forensic Psychology Practice based in the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology, a leading centre for postgraduate research and professional training, at the University of Nottingham, School of Medicine Mental Health and Clinical Neuroscience Unit.
You will be responsible for co-directing the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology and act as Course Director to the MSc in Forensic and Criminological Psychology and contribute to research and practice supervision for the Doctorate in Forensic Psychology (DForenPsy). Both programmes are professionally accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), as professional training leading to chartered status and registration as a forensic psychology practitioner.
Minimum Requirements: You must have a PhD, DForenPsy, DClinPsy or equivalent, in Forensic Investigative or Criminal Psychology (or equivalent), and be registered with the HCPC as a forensic psychology practitioner. Experience of postgraduate teaching, course or module leadership and supervising doctorate research students is also essential.
The post is offered on a full time, (36.25 hours per week), permanent contract. Job share arrangements may be considered.
