HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Communications Design, Sustainability, and Planning.
Our Landscape team is celebrating 20 years of practice. With over 40 professional staff, we work independently as well as an integrated part of HTA on a broad range of large scale, complex projects including park restoration, public realm, town centre regeneration, landscape led master-planning, housing, heritage, and sustainable placemaking.
We are seeking a highly experienced, talented Associate/Principal Landscape Architect to join our busy Landscape Design teams based in London or Edinburgh. You will be responsible for managing a team of Landscape Architects to deliver a portfolio of projects, reporting to one of the Landscape Design Directors at HTA. You will promote Landscape Design excellence and enable HTA to achieve its objective to lead the field in sustainable placemaking.
The ideal candidate will have proven capability to take responsibility for the delivery of multiple large and complex projects across all RIBA work stages, and the ability to effectively manage team and project resources, fees, and client relationships.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:
- A Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or other equivalent level.
- Chartered or near Chartered member of the Landscape Institute or equivalent is preferable.
- Significant, demonstrable, and relevant post MA qualification experience is expected.
- Proven capability to take responsibility for the delivery of multiple large and/or complex projects.
- Proven capability to undertake project, fee and resource planning.
- Proven ability to effectively manage outputs for multiple projects.
- Exceptional design skills, detail orientation and technical proficiency.
- Manages project finances and budgets effectively.
- Exemplary people management and team leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor others effectively.
- Actively contributes towards and/or produces winning bids.
- Able to effectively present and deliver internal technical training.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of using all MS Office applications and highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Affinity, Adobe Creative Suite. Experience of Sketchup and Lumion is desirable.
