About the Department:
The Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE) is a highly innovative centre for creative/cultural management, cultural policy, and entrepreneurship, with a worldwide reputation for excellence in research and teaching. ICCE has approximately twenty-eight academic staff and many associate lecturers who are responsible for five MAs, one BA, and a PG Diploma.
About the Role:
The role holder will be expected to contribute to research and to teaching and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate students, to cover specific needs within the department. You will teach undergraduate students about audience studies, evaluation, and qualitative research methods, to an established syllabus, and supervise undergraduate dissertations, as well as support assessment and tutoring of MA students.
About the Candidate:
You will have completed, or nearly completed, a PhD (or equivalent) and have a proven track record of teaching in an area relevant to the role, such as arts management, cultural policy, cultural and creative industries, and/or cultural entrepreneurship. You will be enthusiastic with skills to teach about audiences to undergraduate students and to contribute to the assessment of postgraduate students.
