Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
About Us
We are a leading care provider committed to delivering exceptional residential dementia care. Our newly refurbished, 60-bed care home in Bury St Edmunds has recently undergone significant investment, including upgrades to electronic systems to enhance care delivery and team management. The home has only two ‘Requires Improvement’ ratings with no major concerns, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to drive improvements and achieve ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC ratings.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, effective, and person-centred environment.
Lead, motivate, and bring the team together, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in dementia care.
Utilise and manage electronic care systems, including Cammerscope, Person-Centred Software, People Planner, and Access Care Compliance, to enhance team efficiency and care quality.
Recruit, train, and support staff, ensuring a culture of professional development and high performance.
Use systems to help manage teams, optimise resource allocation, and drive operational excellence.
Maintain financial sustainability, overseeing budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven leadership experience as a Registered Manager in a residential or dementia care setting.
Strong people skills with a track record of bringing teams together and driving service improvements.
Experience with electronic care systems and a willingness to embrace technology in care management.
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
