Specialist Occupational Therapist Role
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Therapy Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services that promote participation and functional activity in children and young people with acquired brain injury.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with complex needs, working closely with other healthcare professionals and education services.
* Develop and implement therapy goals, in collaboration with children, families, and carers, to maximise recovery and facilitate participation in daily life.
* Design and deliver occupation-centred interventions, using observational and standardised outcome measures to monitor progress and adjust programmes as needed.
* Contribute to the assessment and provision of specialist equipment, including loaned equipment and recommendations for long-term use.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a complex environment, with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and engage with stakeholders across the organisation.
