The Overview:
With so many electrical roles around at present - both permanent and contract - what would make this opportunity stand out? This represents a truly unique opportunity to join a company where they are looking for someone who is wanting to further their career, learn new skills and work for a worldwide institution within engineering. This is a real chance for a long-term career with genuine opportunity. And WOW, what a package!
You'll be earning well over £48k in your first year with on-call and overtime, along with BUPA, a vehicle, an iPhone, etc. It makes it a very unique opportunity.
It's all about you:
Traditionally, we usually look to place professionals who are looking to develop their skillset on bigger, more complex equipment or for people who have hit a 'glass ceiling' where they are. You must ideally have industrial/commercial installation experience. You must have first-class customer service and a real hunger and desire to develop your career.
The role itself:
What is the actual role itself? This company has a team of installation engineers across the UK who install and maintain their equipment. They operate in various sectors across the UK, and due to growth they are looking to bring in another member to their team to carry out such duties. You will be trained on all their equipment in what is a customer-facing role, usually working with directors of client companies and looking to build relationships.
The role is also home-based and you will plan and manage your own days - providing some real autonomy. This involves electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance of a range of different pieces of high-level kit with future opportunities.
The company:
We have worked with some of the major engineering players in the world over the years. This organization is the one that historically garners the most interest from candidates. It is a multinational company present on every continent apart from Antarctica, and is organically growing in the UK, feeling like a growing SME (expanded by 25% in the last 4 years) which gives it a unique feel. They manufacture their own electrical equipment, provided to numerous sectors across the world and have to train new staff around such equipment - complex stuff that could be completely new to your skill set.
