A well-established engineering business based in Cheshire is seeking experienced Panel Wirers for a long-term contract to support a major increase in orders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a key client.
Role Overview:
This hands-on role involves the electrical and electro-mechanical build of advanced control systems, racks, and panels. You will be working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to assemble and install high-specification components and cabling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Rework and repair of PCBs
* Build and termination of cable assemblies including RF, power, and data cables
* Cabinet, rack, and box wiring
* Crimping and soldering using 22awg – 10awg cable
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schedules
* Carry out mechanical rack and system assembly
* Inspect and test assemblies using appropriate equipment
* Work to tight tolerances and maintain quality throughout
* Time Served / NVQ L3
* Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and cable integration
* Ability to work from complex technical drawings and circuit schematics
* IPC 610/620 or J-STD qualifications (preferred)
* Previous experience in manufacturing
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Working Conditions:
37 hours p/w (Days) Mon-Fri (Early Finish Fridays). Outside IR35 – Ltd Co., Umbrella, or PAYE options. Flexi-time available across 4.5 days.
