Job Title: CLO Asset Backed Securities Analyst Contract Type: Permanent Location: London Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 11th March 2025 We have a brand-new opportunity for a CLO Asset Backed Securities Analyst to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) on a permanent basis in London. This is an exciting time to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) as build a new team of experts and take our Private Assets offering to market. Within this role, you will have high exposure to all areas of the business and personally contribute to the growth and strategic development of RLAM’s Private Asset Business. About the role To help source and manage CLO assets. To analyse public and private CLOs and ABS. To help build strategy for the Structured Credit and Private Asset teams. About you Previous experience in analysing CLO transactions within ABS Detailed knowledge of ABS, fixed income and other investment markets Contribute to the building of ABS portfolios by leading analysis and monitoring the performance of a portfolio of ABS securities. Appropriate qualifications or experience equivalent to degree level, interest in taking or completing CFA Knowledge of regulatory framework in which asset-backed securities operate, including relevant legislation and regulatory bodies Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders. Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) programming languages a Understanding of information systems: Bloomberg and an understanding of Intex and Aladdin would be of benefit. Knowledge of statistical techniques and modelling tools commonly used in financial analysis.
