Inbound Talent has been engaged to help the leading authorised Starlink reseller in the UK add to their technical team in a campaign to recruit 2x experienced Network Engineers.
Role
The Senior Network Solutions Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions with an initial focus on Starlink, SD-WAN, Security, and Wireless Access (WiFi). They will work closely with the Sales Team in a pre-sales capacity to support sales presentations, demos, and requirements gathering to generate high-level and low-level technical solution proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and deliver network solutions, specialising in technologies such as Starlink, OneWeb, SD-WAN, Enterprise WiFi, and other fixed ISP services.
* Work closely with the business development and sales team to provide advanced pre-sales technical support by consulting with customers to deliver sound commercial and technical proposals.
* Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts, ensuring top-tier service and support.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in telecommunications and networking.
* Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
* Convey customer requirements to Sales, Product, and Operations teams
The Candidate:
* Proven experience in network engineering, with a keen focus on advanced communication technologies.
* Cloud/AWS experience is highly advantageous, reflecting our commitment to cutting-edge cloud solutions.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
* Strong foundation in IT and telecommunications, with a passion for continuous learning and development.
* Previous experience in pre-sales engineering within networking.
* Proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, and security protocols.
* Strong communication and presentation skills in emails, documents, RFP’s, and reports.
* Experience in network management tools and software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferable.
Certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are desirable.
