The post holder supports the Ward Manager in the general management of the clinical environment, ensuring that a quality service is provided. They will be responsible for ensuring that staff within the team are supported and developed within their role. They will oversee a team of Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, monitoring their professional development through carrying out KSF IPR's.
The post holder will support the flow of patients through the department, identifying and working towards set criteria for discharge. The post holder will be a role model both clinically and professionally. Provide effective input into the work of the Trust, to support the achievement of our vision and values.
Main duties of the job
