My client is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) in Cambridgeshire.

Description
To be successful in this Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role in Cambridgeshire, you will:
1. Lead and support the night team and warehouse operations.
2. Support the Regional Manager and Supervisor by ensuring several operational tasks are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
3. Organise the night team to ensure we deliver the highest levels of customer service.
4. Be responsible for receiving nightly deliveries to site and getting deliveries put into stock.
5. Occasionally raise orders on a bespoke in-house system and take and remedy customer queries when required.
6. Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse, ensuring that all areas are kept clean, clear, and free from hazards or obstructions.
7. Control bulk stock replenishment and quality control by completing minor rectification work.
8. Receive a handover email at the start of each shift and complete tasks outlined, sending a handover email at the end of each shift.
Profile
The successful candidate for this Senior Warehouse Operative (Nights) role in Cambridgeshire will have:
1. The ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
2. Adhere to site and customer Health & Safety regulations.
3. Ensure all staff are adhering to Health & Safety protocols (PPE always worn, following KSBs, etc.).
4. A friendly, polite, and approachable demeanor, being a strong team player while organising and leading the night team drivers and managing issues that arise.
5. A full UK driving licence and proven driving experience, including experience of driving a 3.5t vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter/Ford Transit).
6. A willingness to undergo a Driving Licence check with the DVLA.
7. Good attention to detail and a sound geographical understanding of the customer service area.
8. A willingness to work shifts and cover holidays/sickness.
9. Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role and the motivation to often work alone is essential.
Job Offer
The successful candidate will receive:
1. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
2. Contract totalling 42 hours per week (Night shifts) - Monday to Friday.
3. Bonus scheme - up to £450 a quarter.
4. 28 days holiday per annum, inclusive of public holidays, plus an additional holiday for each year of service up to a maximum of 5 years.
5. Group personal pension plan - a defined contribution scheme with Aviva with up to 8% employer contribution.
