About the role:
We have a great opportunity within our Procurement team in Birmingham to join on a 12-month fixed term contract as a Procurement Specialist. Within this role, you will provide essential operational support to the Strategic Procurement Team, covering all aspects of purchasing goods and services for the firm, as well as supplying services to our clients.
About you:
We are looking for an individual who demonstrates extensive experience in procurement within a service-delivery focused organisation and a comprehensive understanding of the legal industry’s key suppliers and market dynamics.
The successful candidate will be adept at negotiating with suppliers across various categories, including software, cloud services, IT consulting, HR, facility management, and indirect procurement. Proficiency in contractual commercial terms and conditions, along with strong negotiation skills, is essential.
Collaboration is key, and we need someone with a proven track record of working seamlessly with departments such as Finance, IT, and Compliance to ensure procurement activities align perfectly with our organisational goals.
Qualifications/Systems Knowledge
1. Member of CIPS or studying towards CIPS qualifications
