The Business Account Manager’s role is to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. This is a fast paced role, where the successful candidate will have proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role. They must be able to demonstrable the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and Board level. This role offers Hybrid working as an option from either our Glasgow or Sheffield or site. On occasion you will be required to attend one of our other sites (Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Cardiff or Salisbury) for meetings which could be weekly or monthly, depending on the requirement. This is what you’ll actually do As the Business Account Manager you will serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Will excellent negotiation skills they will negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. The BAM will ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. With strong communication skills they will clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas whilst collaborating with the sales team to develop growth opportunities. Ideally this is you Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and Board level Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel) Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field Our vision is to be the leading speciality bakery group in the UK, and we want the best people in place to achieve this.
