We have an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Structural Technician to join our successful structural engineering team within Cardiff.
Hydrock, now part of Stantec, offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects that enhance your skills and experience with new materials, collaborating with senior engineers to learn from their expertise.
Civil & Structural Engineering
Our national civil, highways, structural, and water engineering team is led from Bristol, with established teams in Plymouth, Birmingham, Cardiff, Gloucester, London, Leeds, Newcastle, and Manchester.
Expect to work with exceptional colleagues on a variety of challenging and prestigious projects.
Your role will include:
* Advanced use of AutoCAD and REVIT to produce building and structural design information.
* Delivery of digital models and technical drawings for various structures across the UK.
* Liaising with other designers and external consultants for project coordination.
* Providing input for project designs and reports.
* Development of AutoCAD / REVIT procedures and quality control.
What we are looking for:
* A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player.
* Knowledge of structural engineering and building detailing.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT for 2D and 3D modeling, drawings, and schedules.
* Experience across various building sectors.
* Ability to manage workload and deliver high-quality work consistently.
