At Leader Education, we are seeking a Primary Teacher to support children within a SEND school based in Amble, Northumberland. The ideal Teacher will have had previous experience working with young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential. This position is well-suited to a passionate and motivated person who is reliable, proactive and hardworking.
This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm).
The successful Candidate will:
* A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
* Support the development of social and emotional skills.
* Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting young people with diverse needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents and staff members.
* Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students.
