We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Technical Supervisor to support our Voids team in assisting and leading the operations and providing excellent repair/refurbishment services to unoccupied properties.
Duties:
As a Technical Supervisor within our repairs & maintenance division, you will supervise a team and be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the performance of trades operatives and where applicable any specialist sub-contractors, monitoring closely compliance, performance and client satisfaction.
· Assist in ensuring that KPI’s relating to the operational requirement are achieved
· Constantly monitor the performance of your team (DLO/Contractors), driving for efficiencies and excellence
· Demonstrate leadership qualities to ensure your reporting team remain focussed and driven
· Maintain accurate job information and updates in accordance with BD Group standards and requirements, using pda technology where required
· Ensure the business database, Accuserve, is effectively updated and fully utilised
· Work co-operatively with on-site management and client representatives
· Ensure Health & Safety legislation and practices are always a key driver to guarantee the safety of the residents, officers, team members and the general public
· Maintain a seamless working relationship with your peers, including planners/admin
· Report issues or problems to the Line Manager/Work Planner/Scheduler without delay
· Recommend and implement improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the site operation
· Work as a part of the out of hours call-out rota if required
· Demonstrate flexibility in your working practices to include multi-tasking where required
· Clear understanding of NHF SoR, with the ability to raise specifications, monitor cost and maintain productivity
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience/knowledge required:
· Previous experiences in a reactive repairs/voids environment
· Proven technical skills
· Previous experience of working in residents’ homes
· Proven ability to multitask
· Proven experience of working in a supervisory role within the social housing environment
· Demonstrable experience of working with MS Office applications and relevant
Working Arrangements:
* Working pattern: Monday to Friday.
* Location: Dagenham
* Office based/site based/Hybrid
