Description Account Director – 12-Month FTC Location: Winchester / London / M4 Corridor Arqiva is looking for a skilled and experienced Account Director to manage and grow our largest utility customer contracts. This pivotal role involves driving profitable growth, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong, positive relationships with key utility customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management within the utilities sector, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of customer service. Customer Relationships : Cultivate positive relationships with current and prospective customers to enhance satisfaction. Sales Strategy : Set and deliver the sales strategy to achieve required results. Continuous Improvement : Lead and manage change to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Performance Standards : Establish performance standards and determine commission plans for the sales team. Compliance : Ensure regulatory and legal compliance within the sales directorate. Representation : Represent Arqiva at external events, industry bodies, and associated companies. Negotiations : Lead negotiations with key stakeholders and identify investment opportunities for strategic and financial benefits. Collaboration : Work with the product development team to prioritize activities and maximize value. Team Engagement : Drive and deliver team engagement. Resource Management : Manage customer relationships, complete transactional activities, and allocate resources. The person Sales and Account Management : Some experience in direct sales channels. Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and third parties. Customer Service : Clear understanding of the importance of good customer service.
