Oversee the maintenance and servicing of machinery, including managing outsourced maintenance services. Design and implement jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and consistency. Provide day:to:day guidance and support to workshop operatives on manufacturing procedures. Lead new product introductions from prototyping to production. Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and promote a culture of safety across the team. The Candidate AlphaCam : experience desirable. Relevant engineering qualifications : BSc in mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role. Proficiency in producing CAD drawings for manufacture. AutoCAD. Experience with CAM software and creating CNC programs. Strong problem:solving skills and a hands:on mindset. Background in woodworking or wood:based manufacturing : Desirable.
