Job Advert: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: London and South East
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team, covering London and the South East. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by helping our clients maintain compliance with Legionella safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out Legionella risk assessments for commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
2. Identify potential hazards and provide practical recommendations to mitigate risk.
3. Ensure compliance with current health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) L8 guidelines.
4. Produce detailed, clear, and accurate risk assessment reports for clients, highlighting findings and necessary actions.
5. Advise clients on the development of water safety plans, maintenance procedures, and training programs.
6. Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and follow-up assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
7. Build strong client relationships and offer expert advice on Legionella control and prevention.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or in a similar water hygiene-related role.
2. In-depth knowledge of Legionella regulations (HSE L8, ACOP, etc.) and water safety management.
3. Excellent report writing and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites across the London and South East region.
5. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
6. Ideally, you will have relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds 2070, HSG 274, or equivalent.
