Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, organised, and self-motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be a key player in managing material flow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and optimising stock levels. You will also be responsible for implementing logistical strategies that align with our company’s objectives to enhance the warehouse's efficiency and its contribution to the growth of Truespeed. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Operations: Manage all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock control, deliveries, and team management. Ensure all health and safety standards are met and maintained Boost Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency to minimise costs and enhance speed and accuracy Monitor Performance: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse efficiency and productivity Lead the Team: Manage and train the team on best practices to ensure operational goals are met and strive for continuous improvement Collaborate: Work closely with internal departments (inc. procurement, sales, finance) to align operational plans with our team goals to ensure seamless warehouse operation Problem Solve: Be responsible for quickly and effectively resolving any day-to-day issues around operational fulfilment Manage Resources: Allocate resources effectively to support smooth operations Build Relationships: Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g., sales, procurement, finance, landlord(s) of sites and suppliers) Report and Communicate: Using a variety of IT systems/programmes you’ll be responsible for providing regular updates and reports on operational performance What We’re Looking For: Proven Warehouse Management Experience: You’ll have experience leading a team with a focus on operational efficiency and fostering a positive work environment Leadership Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities to maintain and improve performance Innovative Mindset: We seek someone who can challenge existing processes and implement new ideas for continuous improvement Solid Organi s ational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You’ll have the ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders, in a professional and appropriate manner Health & Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment IT Competence: Proficient in using warehouse management and inventory control systems Why work for us?
