We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their site in Tyseley and join a small but established team.

Salary = £27-30,000 per annum
Hours = Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8:00am-1:30pm
Location = Tyseley (based in the office) 5 min walk from Tyseley station
Free onsite parking
Day-to-day of the role:
Raising and amending purchase orders.
Progressing orders and dealing with queries.
Managing credit card purchases.
Ensuring acknowledgements match order values.
Managing direct deliveries to customers.
Assisting in the administration of price negotiations.
Providing general administrative support to the Purchase Department.
Liaising with other departments (sales, warehouse, finance) to assist in related processes and queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must have experience in a purchasing or supply chain support role
Excellent communication skills, confident, driven, and a logical thinker.
Strong analytical, collaborative skills and calm under pressure.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; certification is ideal.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Experience with modern purchasing ERP systems, ideally Acumatica.
