We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator to work within a progressive organisation who are also a friendly family business. This role will initially be offered as a six-month temporary role but there is the opportunity that it may extend into a permanent role. The primary responsibility of the Transport Administrator will be the accurate and timely input of customer orders. Additionally, the position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and internal teams, to support daily logistics and transport activities and assist with other administrative duties as required. Duties Office Support - Assisting in the efficient and smooth running of the transport office. Customer Communication - Maintaining effective communication and positive relationships with customers. Troubleshooting and assisting with queries regarding orders. Order Management - Assist in the organisation of stock movements between sites with the Transport Supervisor and Transport Manager as required Order Capture - Accurate and timely order capture Contractor Liaison - Liaising with contractors as required Pallet Management - Oversea the collection of pallets from customer sites as necessary
