We are recruiting for a school that provides education to some of the most vulnerable children and young people across Sheffield. They are looking for a qualified Teacher to work across various sites on a one to one basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, organise, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Adjust teaching strategies to support learners with diverse and complex learning needs.
- Teach the curriculum in a way that is appropriate for the specific age, ability level, and subject(s) you are responsible for.
- Foster a safe, purposeful, and inspiring classroom environment based on mutual trust and respect, while implementing a consistent approach to discipline using a variety of strategies such as praise, consequences, and rewards in a fair manner.
- Utilise assessments effectively to track and promote students' progress.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of SEND needs and effective support strategies.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching style.
- Dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for students and contributing to a positive school environment..
