We need an Engineering Manager...
Basically an all round awesome Engineer with the ability to think out of the box (and in the box sometimes) with huge amounts of demonstrable experience in FMCG Food Production, who likes bread and sorting out process and strategy for keeping our machinery going and who can manage all our other engineers and make them awesome too....
Here comes the science bit...
Here at Spalding, the team are dedicated to delivering unbeatable quality in a safe manner. We are proud to be leading and developing a team at the cutting edge of engineering innovation.
A typically non- traditional engineering opportunity, we have a unique operation working with condition based monitoring therefore ensuring our machines have the minimum levels of intrusion; what we are looking for is the minimum level of maintenance required to obtain reliability. Our engineers are one step ahead of any possible breakdown.
We're going on a journey of innovation and of continuous improvement whilst working on a changing approach to reliability centred maintenance.
Our Engineering teams are encouraged to foster new ideas and perspectives whilst driving change at a pace; we're looking for you to make a personal impact, have passion and inspire a team whilst recognising successes and rewarding that along the way. We take pride in keeping our people and customer's safe, so you'll play a key role in ensuring work is conducted in accordance with our stringent health and safety requirements. As Engineering Manager you'll also be responsible for the budget and the formation of revenue and capital budgets and plans.
