As Head of Financial Accounting, you would be a crucial part of our Finance Function.

The role holder will take a senior and overarching lead on the technical financial accounting and accountability for the University. You provide financial leadership to the team, optimising financial performance and strategy to best support Marjon 2030.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA preferred) with experience of working in a rapidly changing environment and setting strong financial controls. You will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire. Previous experience of managing finance in an education setting is desirable.
In this role, you’ll be based in the Finance team, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth. Our current hybrid working policy means you can work from home or on campus, but you will be required to maintain strong campus links and be available on-site at least 2 days per week.
