Job Description
Scotland’s largest planning authority seeks a motivated and versatile planner to join at this exciting time in the transformation of national planning. A role has become available within Development Plan Team as we embark on the production of our new City Development Plan and focus on delivery actions within our recently adopted Open Space Strategy and Forest and Woodland Strategy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to focus on policy work around vacant & derelict land, taking a place-based approach using nature-based solutions to create climate resilient places that support the regeneration of the city.
The post offers the opportunity to develop a range of skills in GIS; data analysis, site analysis and research using place-based approaches. This will support career progression for the successful candidate including RTPI Membership.
In the future this will expand into an exciting range of work in delivering on the national transformation of planning and continuing regeneration of the city.
