Job summary Band 7 Children's Occupational Therapist Full Time Hours 37.5 per week £51,883 - £58,544 Inc HCAS Per Annum pro rata We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team. An exciting opportunity has arisen, to work as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist in the Children's Occupational Therapy service overseeing the EHC assessment provision in the team. This will involve completing assessments and providing reports for statutory assessments, alongside providing quality assurance of reports and the opportunity of multi-professional working by attending EHC panel. The post holder will work as part of a team, to provide a high-quality occupational therapy service to children up to 18 years of age with difficulties in play, self-care and/or school occupations due to a variety of conditions. They will plan and provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, advice, and Intervention for children with functional difficulties, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, school staf,f and families. They will work autonomously and without direct supervision in a defined clinical area and will be accountable for their clinical actions. The post holder will see children in a variety of settings including the Phoenix Children's Resource Centre, children's homes, special school provisions, mainstream schools and nurseries.
