My client offers a SaaS solution helping minimise error prevention and improve accuracy within finance teams across enterprise businesses. They are looking to expand their EMEA sales team with an additional hire for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress into sales leadership in the future.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation
* Identify and qualify potential clients within the finance team
* Utilise various lead generation methods, including outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking events
* Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic targeting and research
Sales Presentations and Demos
* Conduct engaging and persuasive product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of finance and the relevant teams
* Clearly articulate the value proposition of the SaaS tool, addressing common pain points and challenges
* Customise presentations to align with the client’s industry, size, and unique requirements
Relationship Management
* Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Managers, CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors
* Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, providing insights and solutions that address their business challenges
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., customer success, product development) to ensure a seamless client experience
Sales Cycle Management
* Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and communications
* Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
* Accurately forecast sales revenue and track progress using CRM tools
Market and Industry Knowledge
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting finance teams
* Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs, product features, and market demands
Reporting and Analysis
* Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
* Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to the Sales Manager/Director
* Analyse sales data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and improve sales effectiveness
Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, selling to finance personas
* Experience in selling to Enterprise customers
Skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level stake
* holders.
* Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented
* Strong understanding of finance processes
* Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential
