Job Title: Inventory Coordinator Location: CHANEL Distribution Centre, 5 Queensway Reports to: Inventory Manager, UK Contract: Permanent Contract - Full-Time on site- 40 hours, Monday – Friday, with two shift options available Your role CHANEL: The successful candidate will manage biannual stock counts, ensuring accurate stock movements, inventory control, and support warehouse operations across multiple sites. This role has a strong focus on maintaining system accuracy, physical stock integrity and attention to detail is essential. What impact you can create at Chanel: Key focus areas for this role include: Stock Management & Inventory Control: Schedule, process, and report biannual stock counts at the 5Q Distribution Centre and off-site locations. Ensure accurate stock movements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain optimal stock levels. Process stock condition reports, manage inventory control, and handle returns to Wholesale. Support rotational Fashion, Distribution Centre (DC), and multi-site stock counts. Coordinate daily Perpetual Inventory (PI) checks and reconciliation. Safely operate warehousing equipment, with frequent manual handling tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving stock. Data Management & Reporting: This role is integral to maintaining reliable master data, inventory stock position, batch code analysis and investigating stock discrepancies in real-time. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, managing inventory levels by cycle counting, coordinating with DC Management, and reconciliation of SAP x SCALE systems. Work with multiple divisions to resolve shipment and delivery discrepancies. Notice errors/enrich master data and ensure smooth communication across divisions. General Warehouse Support: Assist with various warehouse duties, including export activities and sales support, as needed. Comply with departmental KPIs and uphold safe working practices. What you will bring to the role: Advanced MS and experience within WMS Manhattan or D365, highly desirable Strong problem-solving skills, due diligence and attention to detail A positive attitude, responsible and adaptable, self-motivated, and driven to focus on maximising efficiency. A good team player with the ability to respond efficiently and effectively to departmental tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organisational skills, Display a proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and handle challenges with diligence. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, reaching, and safely moving stock.
