Employing 6,000 people across the UK and Ireland, we design, build and test trains at the UK’s largest end-to-end train manufacturing factory in Derby and operate major sites at Widnes, Crewe, Ilford and Plymouth, as well as 30 train services depots across the UK&I
Your future role
The Logistics and Support Analysis Manager is the main interlocutor with other Engineering and ISR function (Technical Documentation, RAMS, Design Engineering, System architect, etc.…) with purpose to capture all information that can influence the maintenance strategy.
Influence the Design for integration of the maintainability constraints (DfS: Design for Serviceability), including the requirements for Predictive Maintenance (PHM: Prognostics & Health Management) and considerate all the aspects to be considered to get the Services Readiness in the design of the Equipment.
We’ll look to you for:
• Manage LSA team, the workload and
• Manage LSA activities to deliver QCD commitments in coordination with the ISR Management plan size the team accordingly
• Identify the LCC performance in compliance with DFS target.
• Define the maintenance plan and design of LSA elements (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM)
• Define spare part allocation
• Capitalize data in central ISR repository (ILS PDM)
• Write LSA Management plan
• Ensure technical interfaces with RS, Components, Signaling and Infra teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and from suppliers)
• Ensure that DFS is correctly applied on Sub System (Component Site)
• Ensure REX is collected and considered,
• Manage Definition of Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in consistency with Design Engineering BOM definition.
• Elaborate maintenance plan
• Elaborate LCC calculations and analyzed
• Manage relationship with procurement for ISR requirements
• Ensure LSA database (ILS PDM) is defined and completed correctly
• Ensure compliance between Spar Part consumption model and maintenance strategy.
• Validate content of the technical maintenance documentation
• Promote usage of standard ISR practice compliant with international standard or Alstom central procedure and Method & Tool
• Capitalize data to improve QCD on future project.
