EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Company Secretariat is introducing an exciting new role within the team as a Company Secretarial Assistant.
This role offers great exposure to our FTSE100 public listed company and private subsidiaries by providing administrative support across our Company Secretarial division, ensuring compliance with reporting, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
You will develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, maintaining adherence to legal, statutory, and best practice requirements at all times.
Additionally, you will undertake various projects and programmes as directed by the Senior Assistant Company Secretary, to whom the role will directly report.
Further Responsibilities Include:
* Arranging accommodation, travel, and expenses for Board meetings and activities (e.g., site visits, AGM).
* Coordinating and arranging logistics for new Non-Executive Directors.
* Preparing materials for Board performance reviews.
* Assisting with agendas, minutes, resolutions, and distributing papers via the online Board portal.
* Ensuring adherence to annual statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., annual report, confirmation statements).
* Drafting documents for inter-company loans, share capital arrangements, etc.
* Updating and maintaining records using entity management software.
* Providing administrative support to ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements, including agendas, timetables, proofreading, drafting papers, and data verification.
* Releasing routine stock exchange announcements.
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Executive Committee, auditors, Finance Team).

No prior Company Secretarial experience is required, but office or administration experience is vital. We welcome applicants from roles like executive/personal assistants, legal assistants, team coordinators, project administrators, and programme managers.
