Job Title: Trainee Educational Psychologists
Working Hours: Full Time (36 hours)
Grade: Soulbury Trainee Educational Psychology Scale Points 2-5 (Year 2 TEPs scale point 2 and Year 3 TEPs scale point 3) + Casual Car User
Contract Type: Temporary whilst you complete your professional training as an Educational Psychologist.
Location: Unity House, Swinton, Salford
We welcome applications from passionate and skilled Trainee Educational Psychologists (TEPs) entering their second or third year of doctorate training in September 2024, who are keen to be part of Salford EPS. This post is considered full-time, incorporating university studies and attendance whilst undertaking all tasks as required of a TEP on placement. You will have successfully completed Year 1 or 2 of a recognised professional Doctorate in Child and Educational Psychology; have an Enhanced DBS Check and also have a driving licence and access to transport in order to travel across the LA in order to offer the highest quality service to Salford children and young people, families, schools, services and the Local Authority.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established team of Educational Psychologists. We have considerable experience in supporting TEPs to become fully qualified EPs, working in collaboration with Universities across the country.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month.
