The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Energetics Enclosure Stockpile Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will ensure the safety, security, and compliance of our OME holdings, managing through-life regulatory controls and maintaining operational readiness. As a key member of the Energetics Enclosure Management Team (EEMT), you will oversee procurement, storage, use, and disposal processes, contributing to the wider defence mission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the lifecycle of OME, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
* Maintain accurate records of stockpile holdings, including safety cases for uncharacterised but stable explosives.
* Direct and oversee mandated checks, including annual verifications and ACTO compliance.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Defence Munitions and regulatory bodies, to capture requirements and support procurement cycles.
* Facilitate procedural changes to improve safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
* Communicate and implement bans, constraints, and quarantine notices in collaboration with the Magazine Manager.
* Act as the focal point for Common Acquisition Support Plan (CASP) management, aligning with Defence procurement cycles.
Location: Salisbury, UK
Salary: Up to £54,106 per annum
Working Arrangement: On-site with potential for hybrid in the future.
What we are looking for:
* Degree or equivalent vocational qualification in an OME-related area or relevant military experience.
* Proven expertise in through-life management of OME, with a track record in safety and procedural compliance.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
* Valid UK driving licence (manual).
* Familiarity with MOD Explosive Regulations and energetic storage facility management.
* Experience in managing ACTO items and specific security requirements.
* Membership in the Institute of Explosive Engineers (IExpE).
