As a specialist Children and Young People Counsellor, you will provide therapeutic support to young people aged 11-17 who have experienced sexual violence or abuse. You will work within a non-judgmental and confidential framework, adhering to current service policy and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework.
Requirements:
* Individual and Registered Member of BACP or NCPS.
* Diploma in Counselling, Psychotherapy, or Clinical Psychology.
* Specific professional experience or training with young people.
You will be responsible for assessing risk of harm to clients/self/others/property, sharing information in respect of safeguarding, and adhering to current guidance and policies. You will also need to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records using MODUS (electronic Client Management System).
