In this role, you will have a pass in GCSE English, Maths, and a Science or equivalent. We will enrol you onto the NVQ II Pharmacy Services or equivalent to progress you further in the role.
In summary, you will:
1. Assemble and check all raw materials to be sent into designated clean rooms following standard operating procedures and trust guidelines.
2. Maintain asepsis in the clean room environment through good working practices.
3. Participate in volume checking of colleagues within the sterile chemotherapy unit.
4. Support ordering, receiving, rota, and maintain all stocks within the department.
5. Compile documentation for quality control and quality assurance to adhere to licensing requirements of the department and within the trust.

It is an exciting time for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, as we expand our capacity in the aseptic pharmacy suite at CCCL. This has provided an exciting opportunity for a Band 2 Pharmacy Assistant, which is an important position within our large, diverse, and friendly pharmacy team.
Working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, 8am-6pm over 4 days per week.
