A Play, A Pie and A Pint is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to be our Communications Assistant and be part of Glasgow’s lunchtime theatre phenomenon.
The role is an exciting opportunity to work at the UK’s biggest producer of new writing, working on marketing campaigns to promote multiple brand-new theatrical productions and the activity of our organisation more widely.
This position involves working across different aspects of arts marketing, communications, and audience development, including:
1. Website management
2. Press relations
3. Email marketing
The Communications Assistant will also be responsible for creating content for A Play, A Pie and A Pint’s social media accounts, with the opportunity to use their creativity and initiative to showcase our productions and behind the scenes.
This is a fixed-term contract for 20 weeks, at a salaried position of £7,176 (£23,920 pro rata). The hours of work are for 3 days (21 hours) per week. Depending on upcoming funding outcomes, there may be an opportunity for this role to be extended beyond its end date.
