About the department and role:
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to oversee HR functions in the UK and across our international locations. This role will focus on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and managing a small HR team, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Employee Relations & Engagement.
* Act as the main contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns professionally and efficiently, including attending disciplinary meetings.
* Foster an inclusive company culture by supporting engagement initiatives and reviewing employee morale across all locations.
HR Strategy & Development
* Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives in all locations.
* Partner with management to provide guidance on employee performance, career development, retention strategies and company culture.
* Compliance & Policies
* Ensure compliance with local employee laws and regulations in each location.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the UK employment practices and adjust company policies accordingly for all locations.
HR Metrics & Reporting
* Develop HR metrics to assess employee satisfaction, performance, and retention.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.
Key Deliverables
* Ensure satisfactory outcomes in UK employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, employment policies, and remuneration.
* Support management on HR matters arising in other locations.
* Lead and develop a small HR team.
* Maintain performance management processes and appraisal policies.
* Report on HR metrics such as absence and turnover.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Expert in UK employment policies and employee relations processes, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
* Ability to lead and develop a small team.
* Passion for learning new skills while delivering business objectives.
* Strong alignment with company values.
* Driven to achieve high-performance standards.
* Team player who prioritises collaboration and relationship-building.
* CIPD Level 7 qualified.
