Job Title: Ship Services Lead
Salary: Circa £62,000 depending on skills and experience plus bonus scheme
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and empowering teams by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth
* Ensuring safety, implementing and maintaining high safety standards ensuring Ship Services Team Leaders are delivering safe care and protection in accordance to plans, schedules
* Managing resources by overseeing resource allocation and demand planning to support project delivery
* Driving operational excellence, leading and supervising teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Championing continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Fostering a positive work environment, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
Your skills and experiences:
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
* Understanding of Maritime Operations, ship maintenance and familiarity with maritime laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding creative and practical solutions
* Ability to think strategically and align team goals with the overall business objectives
* Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth and skill enhancement

This leadership role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage a team responsible for delivering critical projects within the company. You will be accountable for the team's performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role is varied meaning no 2 days will be the same and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization by driving operational excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
