Job description: Procurement Management Create and manage purchase orders using Oracle ERP to procure material components and services as required by Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Negotiate with suppliers to manage rising costs and report monthly purchase price variances to Finance. Use creativity & innovation to support business in meeting their financial objectives Proactively identify material constraints and collaborate on contingency plans and alternate sourcing solutions. Be able to drive supplier recovery plans to ensure material is always available to meet production schedule. Ensure compliance with company and procurement policies by sourcing materials from approved suppliers that meet quality specifications Supplier Relationship Management Build and maintain strong communication channels with suppliers by delivering forecasts, addressing quality complaints, and conducting quarterly business review meetings. Drive value from supplier relationships through initiatives like local inventories, price reductions and shipment consolidations. Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time deliveries, quality compliance and adherence to contract terms. Project Management Ability to manage complex projects to dual source materials to de-risk business and enable cost down targets. Represent procurement for all validation activity requiring supplier collaboration. Coordinate cross-functionally between key stakeholders to resolve quality issues. Operational Excellence Optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts, lead times, and demand variation. Maintain ERP item parameters, such as re-order levels, lead times, and MOQs. Support the efficient movement of components across Hologics global locations. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly. Support supplier problem solving to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and effectively Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a key supply chain representative on project teams involving engineering, quality, production, R&D, and distribution. Provide outstanding customer service to internal requestors and contribute to collaborative team efforts. Required profile: What We Expect Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. Training or certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, APICS, or project management preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a procurement role supporting production. Experience in a medical or cGMP production environment preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, particularly using MS Excel. Applied knowledge of MRP and inventory management systems, preferably Oracle ERP.
