Our extensive refurbishment programme includes expanding and upgrading the property to see it repositioned as one of the best hotels in Scotland and an international destination. Plans include new luxury woodland lodges, revitalised golf, spa & leisure facilities, and a refurbishment of our guestrooms and public spaces.
As we embark on this thrilling new chapter, we are searching for a skilled and dedicated Hotel Receptionist to join our team.
Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:
1. Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of house areas.
2. Being fully conversant with the Hotel’s facilities and location in order to respond to guest enquiries.
3. Anticipating guests' needs wherever possible to deliver exceptional quality of service and guest satisfaction.
4. Promoting a helpful and professional image within the department ensuring full co-operation with colleagues in other departments.
5. Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings.
6. Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys.
7. Answering phones from prospective guests, taking messages, and delivering them.
8. Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
9. Responding to requests for help and information.
10. Providing concierge services, such as booking theatre tickets, arranging travel, and providing information about local amenities and attractions.
11. Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments.
12. Checking guests out, taking payments, and returning deposits.
The Ideal Hotel Receptionist:
