Overview:
Our client, a leading Data Fintech Platform, is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Sales Director to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing sales leader with a proven track record in driving new business within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the full sales cycle and a background in banking or fintech.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and drive new business development efforts, targeting financial institutions and fintech companies.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in alignment with the company’s growth strategy.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
* Present and position the company’s data fintech platform to C-level executives and decision-makers.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
* Leverage industry knowledge and networks to position the company as a market leader in the fintech space.
* Regularly report on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends to senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
* Proven track record of new business success within financial services, ideally with experience in selling reconciliation solutions (though not essential).
* Extensive experience in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing and post-sale support.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers in both banking and fintech environments.
* Strong understanding of financial markets, fintech products, and data-driven solutions.
* A seasoned sales professional with a strategic mindset and ability to navigate complex sales processes.
* Previous experience working at a bank or fintech company is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
