Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Role:
* The Systems Engineer will undertake front-end lifecycle system requirements tasks, as well as back-end integration, verification, and validation activities.

* Systems Engineering Team Leader Requirements & IVVQ
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of systems engineering across Air Operations, Systems, and Services.
Responsibilities:
* Requirement Management Planning and tools
* Expert support for requirement improvement, validation, and verification work
* Participation in team decision-making and collaboration
* Project requirements management
* Peer reviews of requirements specifications
* DOORS tool administrative tasks
* Requirements capture and management: Customer and End user needs and distil into functional and non-functional requirements
* Derivation and flow-down of lower-level (Subsystem/component) Requirements
* System and Subsystem verification activities on programmes
* System and Subsystem verification reports writing/reviewing
* Integration test scripts writing/reviewing/executing
Requirements:
* Good working knowledge of DOORS and its use in capturing verification, qualification, and acceptance data and requirements management
* Competence in Microsoft Office usage
* Effective communication skills
* Self-motivated, innovative, and willing to exercise initiative
* Able to overcome barriers and make things happen
* Team member working towards team goals
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years previous experience working within a Systems Engineering environment
* Experience gained in solution design or IVV roles with practical experience in these areas

The successful candidate must gain SC clearance. A relocation package may be considered for the right individual. This role requires SC Clearance, and it would be advantageous if the applicant currently holds it.
