To do this we are creating a combined, multi-agency locality Family Help Service, building on the strengths of Family Safeguarding model. About the job Family service coordinators will help us transform our service delivering Family Group Conference and Family Network Meetings as an offer to all families. Our vision is to embed family rights and decision making at the heart of everything we do. This role sees you work flexibility, your focus will be meeting the needs of families and supporting them to come together, which sometimes means this will be outside of 9-5. About you: We are looking for individuals who hold experience of working with children, young people and their families. We would look for an individual who holds a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent within a relevant professional field. You will be trained to undertaken Family Group Conference and Family Network Meetings, in mediation skills and in reducing parental conflict. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in your chosen specialism Our Offer: Wellbeing is at the heart of our work. It’s all about developing systems and practices with partners including the police, health, and probation services to form an expert network of child protection leads and specialists.
