Company Overview:
Our Client is currently looking for a Trainee Fire Door/Fire Stopping Surveyor to join their highly valued team on a full-time basis. This company is a reputable business with over 20 years of experience within the industry. They are currently entering another period of growth and are looking to expand their Fire Stopping Department to keep up with high customer demand.

You will be given support, training, and a realistic workload to help ensure you achieve job satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Travel to various building types, including schools, universities, student accommodation, residential blocks, public buildings, care homes, and supermarkets, to conduct condition surveys on fire doors and fire compartment lines.
* Conduct surveys using an online software app on your smartphone, assessing condition against a series of prompts and approved repair methods. Each survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and requires measurements and photo documentation.
* Work independently while maintaining regular contact with your line manager and planning team to track progress, validate survey results, and finalize reports before submitting them to clients.
Skills and Experience:
* A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
* IT literate (including tablets, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications)
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Previous experience in either Fire Stopping or Fire Door installation
* Desirable: Recognised qualifications in fire door inspection e.g., BM Trada / FDIS / BRE
* Desirable: Building surveying qualification
