SALARY: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus pension

We are looking for an outstanding technical lead to be a key influencer in planning and implementing projects, working closely with the Head of Digital to align solutions with group and college objectives.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the Digital Technology team and serve as a trusted resource, supporting and training wider departmental colleagues, staff, and students.
2. Shape and maintain reliable and secure IT Services that directly impact the day-to-day activities of staff and students.
3. Responsible for the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the College’s network, hardware, and software systems.
4. Provide technical support (2nd and 3rd line), troubleshooting assistance, and guidance to ensure smooth digital operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Educated & Experienced: Hold a relevant degree or industry qualifications, with a strong background in IT technology, particularly in networks and server infrastructures, including cloud.
2. Technical Expertise: Skilled in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies, with experience to deliver.
3. Innovative & Resilient: Passion for innovation, a solution-focused mindset, and determination to drive continuous improvement.
4. Excellent Communicator: Able to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, making complex technical information accessible to all.
5. Experience of working in an education setting would be an advantage, but is not essential.
