We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst who will play a key role within our established finance team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Group maximises revenue and profitability through sound commercial financial decision making. This will be achieved by the development of robust pricing/costing of services, providing rigorous analysis and review of agency/regional profitability/benchmarking, identifying opportunities to grow the business and better manage the cost base as well as providing support to the Head of Commercial Finance and the wider senior management team.
Key responsibilities
1. Assisting in the setting of prices, including annual fee uplifts, discounts, for all Group products and services. This will include price and contract negotiation with our customers.
2. To determine the unit delivery cost for all products and services provided by the Group.
3. Ensuring all our systems and internal stakeholders are kept up to date with changes to contracts and pricing.
4. To review and improve the profitability of agencies and business units through benchmarking and budget variance analysis.
5. Conducting monthly accounts review with operational management.
6. Develop robust financial models that can be used for budgeting, reforecasting and costing purposes.
7. Assisting with designing and improving financial reporting for the Group.
8. Ensuring the smooth transition of new acquisitions and organic companies to be embedded successfully into the commercial and financial reporting for the Group. This will include ensuring pricing schedules for any acquisitions are created, companies and cost centres are set up on the accounting system and that they flow through to financial reports.

10. Commercially astute with an ability to identify & shape opportunities / risks, influencing behaviour & decisions which have improved business results
11. Proven track record working within a Commercial environment
12. Track record of setting and delivering stretching cost saving targets
13. Professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – Part qualified applicants will be considered dependent upon experience
